The New Manna Baptist Church Youth Camp is a little bit of heaven on earth. In 1987, God blessed our church with the opportunity to buy the old Duke Power plant on Lake James. Since that time, God has allowed us to hold camps for children, teens, and adults. The campers are able to enjoy riding tubes, jet-skis, boats, and four-wheelers; playing basketball, volleyball, and tetherball; and much more. Most importantly they have the opportunity to attend services at the tabernacle twice a day, where they are exposed to some of the best preaching in the world. As a result, we have seen hundreds accept Christ as their Savior and many give their lives to His service.
The camp is also used for other occasions. Couples retreats, teen activities, and men's get-togethers are just of the few examples of how God has used this property for His glory.
Without a doubt, the Lord Jesus Christ has put His hand on the NMBC Youth Camp, and we are excited about what He will do here in the future. It has and will continue to be a place for changing lives.
