Bus Ministry 
The Bus Ministry is one of the greatest soulwinning tools to ever be instituted in the local church. For over 20 years our church has run buses throughout McDowell and Burke County. We have seen thousands of souls saved and lives changed, because of some bus worker who was full of compassion and made a difference.
 
Children's Ministry 
At New Manna we believe that we need teach our children to love and serve God at an early age. Our Little Giants Children's Ministry (Ages 4-12) meets together every Wednesday evening in the gym at 7 PM.  
 
 
 

Choir Ministry
The New Manna Adult Choir consist of young adults, adults, and senior saints from within the church. The choir sings every Sunday Morning and Sunday Evening at the begining of each service. It is the goal of the Adult choir to be a blessing to the other people in the congregation by uplifting the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in song, while preparing the hearts of the people for the message from Pastor Shirley. 
 
 
G.R.O.W.T.H is the newest ministry of New Manna Baptist Church. The main objective is to see souls saved, lives changed, and families restored by the grace of God. In a years time, we will, as church families or individuals, pledge to "go out into the highways and hedges and compel" at least one family to regularly attend our services.
 
 
Preacher's Prayer Team
The Preacher's Prayer Team is a ministry where a portion of our church family has COMMITTED to pray TOGETHER about certain needs. With this comment we have created a call in prayer line.  Each day Pastor Shirley places new prayer request for the team to pray for.  We have had thousands of miraculous prayer request answered since this ministry has been put into place.   
 
 

Prison Ministry
People still have souls even behind bars.  The only difference between us and inmates is the grace of God.  Many are forgotten and forsaken once they are placed in jail.  We provide several area jails and prisons with preaching and spreading the love of God to a forgotten group.  Many souls have been saved and lives changed. 
 
 

 
Radio Ministry
We currently broadcast on 3 radio stations.  Two of which can be heard online as well. Our local station WBRM-1250 broadcast can be heard at 9:30am on Sunday morning.  On Saturday we can be heard on WKJV-1380 (out of Ashville, NC) at 10:30am.  You can also hear it online at www.wkjv.com at the same time. Also, on Saturday we can be heard on KJAB-88.3 (Mexico, MO) at 11:00am CST and online at www.kjab.com at the same time.
 
 
 
 
Soul Winning
We believe in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.  We also believe that God has commanded us to this.  We have weekly organized soul winning as well as soul winning trips.
 
  
 
 
Special Citizens Ministry
For years we have provided special services to mentally challenged and disabled adults.  We believe they need the Lord just the same as anyone.  God holds us responsible for all that we come in contact with so we must tell them the good news of salvation.  We have teams that visit local group homes and then brings them church every Sunday. 
 
 
 
Sunday School
Here at New Manna we have Sunday School classes available for all ages beginning with infants on up to our Adult Class which meets in the main auditorium. Our teachers pray and study over their lesson every week to make sure that you and your child will learn more about God and His Word.
 
 
 
Media Ministry
Every service is recorded on CD and DVD.  If requested we can also provide the servcies on cassette.  We send out dozens of CDs each week to shut-ins and others that request them.  You can be placed on our mailing list by contacting our church office at (828)652-7505.
